Sir, the United States has systems in place designed to absorb an attack by thousands of nuclear weapons and to retaliate in despite.

You and I may not survive the attack, but the nation, crippled though it may be, will. In the days of the Cold War it was American doctrine to retaliate massively against a nuclear attack, even if it meant essentially annihilating the Russians and the Chinese. Nothing in what I have suggested is new, unless one argues that Muslims are more special than the Ivans or the Chinese.

Perhaps the govt knows that the nuke is already here and that is WHY Bush talks about the axis of evil??? (not to mention that 'spiffy' shadow govt)

So, IF there IS a nukleer event, do the terrs REALIZE how short-lived the lives of themselves AND their women/children will BE???
