They are proven to be bloodthirsty, of their will to use these weapons I have no doubt. I say we take 'em out before they we let them realize their dream.

"a 10kTon "suitcase" nuke is bound to be larger than pocket-size...more like back-of-a-pickup size. "

You are wrong as two left feet. I have parachuted with a 10 kiloton device in a backpack. My mother-in-law could carry one (hell, her purse probably weighs almost that much!!)

The kitchen window standard is this: A 1 psi blast wave is equivalent to the kitchen window being hit with 1,920 pounds of force when all doors and windows of the house are closed [1,920 = 30x64x1]. Similarly, a 3 psi blast is equivalent to the window being hit with 5,760 pounds of force. So you can see why not only windows break, but walls can come tumbling down with such overpressures.

And despite this grave threat OUR government still leaves the borders open to illegal immigration, does not enforce our immigration laws and incredibly continues to allow immigration from nations that sponsor terrorism. Where on earth is our government's concern about the safety and security of its citizens?

Why isn't it already here?

Isn't what already here? Putting any big bomb on top of a building wouldn't be too easy. And again, it doesn't make as big an impact as merely spreading radiation with a large conventional fire.

I would suggest that President Bush announce to the world that any detonation of a nuclear device, including the so called "dirty bomb", on any part of the US or its' possessions will be met with immediate and devastating conventional or nuclear retaliation on all countries with over X% muslim population (or some other formula that will serve to assure the Islamic states that if anyone expodes a nuclear device here, almost all of them will die).
Included in his announcement should be that the same retaliation will be visited upon "Terrorist States" as designated by the US State Department. That should cover the North Koreas of the world.

I think the immediate resurrection of the neutron bomb as a viable weapon system is also in order, so that he will have more flexibility.

Answer: Becasue that was all they had at the time, but since those days, they have been able to purchase a 10 kiloton device and are now planning on using it.

And your proof of this is??? Come on now, prior to Sept 11th it would have been much easier for them to have purchased/stole/borrowed,(Or whatever) a nuclear device. Since then the whole world is watching. Everything that they do is up for the highest scrutiny. Even cash starved former Soviet republic military would not sell to them.

Why would they be interested in crop dusters for unwieldy bioterror, and not small cargo-carrying type planes for a nuke delivery??

While I do not doubt the crop duster angle was thought about, I do doubt they even wanted to go through with that possibility. After all, most every Chem and bio agent needs controlled delivery. Weather could undo most of what they wanted to acheive, and even with delivery it would not affect the numbers they wish.

Anthrax is a case and point. There has been how much of it mailed? How many places contaminated with it? And even though a single death warrants military retaliation they only caused 7 in a country of over 270 million. Poor choice, poor delivery and bad knowledge on how best to use it.

An attack of this magnitude would ASSUREDLY be followed up with an attack on the DOW and NASDAQ systems.... but since THOSEwould ALREADY BE DESTROYED we MIGHT GET LUCKY when the presdient shuts them dowm....In a situation like this you HAVE TO ASSUME THAT THERE WILL BE A RUN ON THE BANKS NATION WIDE....

I just don't think the likes of Richard Reid are playing with a full deck, much less the latest technology -or else- they would've used it before the they caused the full force of the world to come down on top of their little towelheads.

Well ... with a nuclear plant just up the road a piece, I have put my trust in GOD. There has been talk here about what would happen and the skinny is this: only about 100,000 would be affected by this nuclear plant being attacked. So, for now, I'm guessing that their "bomb" is going to target a much larger population center. San Diego is not a good location - too many military installations - too much security. I think LA or San Fran is a much more probably target; along with NYC or Wash. D.C.

Thats a good point, but the purchase may have been made just prior to 9/11 which would mean they would go ahead with their plans, but then follow up at some point in the future with the ultimate terroristic threat. WE could come up with many possibilities, so this is just one.

I think they have had this bomb here for some time. I think we know this, and that is why we have not done a complete sweep of Islamic immigrants...it would press them to go ahead and set it off before they are caught.

I suppose this is also Bush's rationale for leaving our borders wide open and his plan to reward millions of Mexican gatecrashers with Amnesty. I don't buy it. This administration is so politically correct and so beholden to the businesses that ply their trade with illegal labor that they put these interests before the security of the American people.

At a minimum, don't you think the administration would have stopped immigration from terrorist states if they were truly concerned about more terrorist attacks on America? It doesn't add it.

Stop making excuses for the inexcusable.

Sir, the United States has systems in place designed to absorb an attack by thousands of nuclear weapons and to retaliate in despite.

You and I may not survive the attack, but the nation, crippled though it may be, will. In the days of the Cold War it was American doctrine to retaliate massively against a nuclear attack, even if it meant essentially annihilating the Russians and the Chinese. Nothing in what I have suggested is new, unless one argues that Muslims are more special than the Ivans or the Chinese.

People are so short-sighted and focused only on the next moment. I said at the time of the September 11th terrorist attacks that the United States should have launched a total world-wide nuclear attack against ALL Muslim nations, Morth Korea and China.

Given the next year, the next five years, the next fifty years, the next 500 years, these maniacal terrorists will continue to try to bring us down by any and ALL means necessary.

We can act now, unilaterally, to destroy Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, Eygpt, Palestine, Libya, China, and North Korea, or we can suffer the tragedy and torment that will continue against us FOREVER more. They will not stop until the last true American patriot is decapitated and killed.

The only satisfaction a conservative American patriot will be able to savor will be the expression of awe and disbelief of the faces of the Communist Democrats in this country when their appeasement policies literally blow up in their faces and little Tommy Dasshole watches his body liquefy in the searing radiation blast of a nuclear weapon detonated by his much loved and worshiped fellow terrorists.

You know we are going to suffer a nuclear holocaust in the in this country tomorrow, the next day, or the next year. It is only a matter of time. We can sit back and wait for extinction, or we can strike now, take our losses, and hopefully rid the earth of the vermin known as Muslims.
