I was polite to the little turd the first time. That's all he gets. After reading his subsequent posts, I'm just going to cut & paste the response from Gumption every time he opens his mouth. Gumption's response has that certain air of directness my attempts at civility lacked.

My stance? I'm of the opinion that you are a sandwich short of a picnic. Want a second opinion? ... ok, your paranoid delusion disorder (or Psychosis) could have been brought on due to a physical/medical episode, but could still be treatable by Antipsychotic Medication, or possibly through psychotherapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Either way, I hope you get the help of which you are so badly in need. One more thing ... don't forget to check in your closet and under your bed before you go to sleep tonight.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Where did you get that factoid, the Weekly World News? Al-Jezzera? Le Monde?

Yeah, the CIA guys in Afghanistan knew about Osama, they knew who he was and what he was doing (mostly flying and packing in recruits, food, arms and construction equipment for the Afghan fighters) but he he never worked with us. Our boys were primarily the Party of God, who were, admittedly, extreme fundies, but they eventually got shuffled out of the game and never managed to gain or hold any power in Afghanistan after the Soviets were expelled.

I'm asking myself why this is news.

Can anyboby give me an example of a casualty free WAR? By definition WAR means destruction of human and property. Even the mighty USA has to contemplate that situation, despite all the advantages on hand from the super technology we are employing for our troops in any branch of the military.
OTOH our soldiers know full well(as i did when joined the service for 5 years)that there is a viable posibility of beein killed in the line of duty. That is a gamble wich everyone of us took, when signing up the contracts.

Further more, everything comes and has a price to be paid, sometimes with the absolute, but so be it if that is what it takes to preserve our way of life, freedom and the liberty to express oneself without fear of reprisal.This is the American Way and will never change!

Dittos. I shall join you in your concern & also take a seat on the list of those who will be very angry with your questions. My attention was rivetted to the Homeland Security Act-whipped out like a daily newspaper, authored by the likes of former Sen Gary Hart & former civil rights gadfly, Andrew Young-what a source for laws that trump the Constitution.

The war is real but provides the crisis the gov needs for further CONTROL & TAXATION-the only real ends of modern government. The war compels the gov to defend us, the bad guys must be pursued & eradicated, we probably did not have some nefarious agents who provoked the 9-11, but my oh my, what uses the government makes of the threat. If a conservative, intellectually independent & educated class of voters actually controlled our government, I would have no fear ( of a draft or any other action ). However, the scum of the earth are brought in the country, given perfunctory citizendhip & encouraged to cast their ignorant & uninformed votes for whomever is in office! What a deal-free citizenship & full franchise! Back in the Dark Ages, 1955, we charged a poll tax of $2 in Texas-paid for the election & any functional citizen could afford the cost. That simple system stoped fools from voting-it took a serious person to take the time to go physically pay the small tax & register. Now we pay idiots to vote-with stolen tax money-from the producers. So many of our leaders act for purely personal gain.

Can your sort even imagine anything intelectual? Grin! That is a good comment about "perverts" (Headline: Taliban beat off attacking troops.) More seriously, I am convinced that the numbers of Taliban and Al-Quadi must be greatly exagerrated. If you look carefully at that story, the estimate of "5,000 or more" must come from the retreating Northern Alliance troops. Not a reliable source. They probably got driven away by few 100 enemy troops, and of course once they have retreated they will say - there were thousands upon thousands ...
