Iraqi escapee reveals Saddam's plans

FORT WORTH, Texas - He's not just any former resident of Iraq. We talk with a man who spent time working at a camp where he says Saddam Hussein is training terrorists.

Sabah Khodada told us he grabbed his family and ran because he opposed Saddam Hussein. And, he brought with him chilling accounts of what soldiers are being trained to do, training that includes the hijacking of planes.

Saddam Hussein’s possible link to this attack is a mystery, but Sabah Khodada believes Iraq played a role.

Today he watches Arabic satellite tv to keep up with his country. But, beginning in 1982, Khodada worked 10 years as an army captain in this area -- a city in Iraq near Baghdad named Salman Pak. A satellite photo shows it to be one of the most elite terrorist training camps in the Arab world, a place where terrorists are trained to kill Americans.

"He was living in this area," his interpreter said. He fled Iraq two years ago with his family because he knew the consequences of opposing Hussein.

"Immediately, they put the whole family in prison so he was afraid," the interpreter said.

And Khodada says Americans should be concerned. Numerous companies, he says, are willing to deliver nuclear weapons to Hussein.

"His biggest concern is nuclear weapons," the interpreter said. "He [Hussein] wants to keep his position in Iraq and he will do anything to keep the presidency, so expect anything."

The type of training taking place in Salmon Pak is just as chilling,. Training in this DC-10 jet, captured by satellite, nestled in the trees.

"This is the airplane here, here," the interpreter said.

Khodada says soldiers are learning to hijack jets, scream and storm a plane under the direction of an appointed commander.

"He is to control psychologically, how to attack, how to get inside the plane and so on," Khodada said through the interpreter.

And Khodada says soldiers themselves are undergoing psychological preparation for suicide missions. One exercise involves throwing grenades at soldiers as they stand salute. Some lose limbs, some die, but none waver.

"Training went on and on, and there's no fear out of it," he said.

Khodada drew a map of the area for U.S. Authorities. His mission now is to warn American’s about terrorist training, so we don't underestimate the country of Iraq.

"How fearful should we be of Saddam Hussein’s activities today?" we asked.

"Hussein's forces have killed many Iraqis with chemical weapons. If he can do that to his own people, don't you think he will do it to anybody else?" he said, through the interpreter.

Khodada also told us there was an anthrax manufacturing plant in Salman Pak. He says he warned the U.N. two years ago of possible hijackings, but didn't believe they were interested in the information. Since Sept. 11th, he says, the F.B.I. has been all ears.

Khodada says he never participated in terrorist activity. His family fled pretending to be Kurdish refugees. And tonight, he works as a waiter at a Ft. Worth country club.

KEYWORDS:
Salman Pak is the training facility that former CIA director Admiral Woolsey repeatedly spoke of last year on Nightline and Frontline. Woolsey stated that Saddam had trained 200 AlQaueda terrorists at Salman Pak starting last July in the use of weapons of mass destruction. Woolsey also said that terror missions for hijacked airlines using box cutter knives were also planned and trained for at Salman Pak. He strongly implied that Saddam Hussein had helped train some of the terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks.

Note that the Iraqi escape described an anthrax facility in Iraq as well. Iraq is still a suspect in the anthrax attacks in the US and is capable of mounting anthrax and small pox attacks in the US through terrorist groups.

Saddam , Iraq and Iran sent repesentatives to two terror summits last year where Islamic Jihad, AlQaeda, Abu Nidal, Hezbollah and Hamas pledged global cooperation and coordination for terrorist strikes against the US and Israel.

It is ironic that KFORTV is the same station that reported on the Iraqi suspect Al Hussain Hussaini for the OKC bombing. KFORTV stopped its investigative reports on the OKC bombing after they were bought by the New York Times in 1996.

There is an Iraqi mafia with at least 10 Iraqis involved in crimes and terror in OKC according to a Federal Task force in OKC. Some Iraqis who served in Saddam's elite Republican Guard like Al Hussaini were brought to OKC by HW Bush after the Gulf War.

There is considerable evidence that Iraqis in OKC worked together with AlQaeda and Hamas terrorists in OKC to help McVeigh in the OKC bombing and to help the 9/11 pilots train in Norman OK flight schools and this was known to the FBI before the 9/11 attacks. Also the FBI knows that the first WTC attack and the 9/11 attacks on the WTC were planned at a terror conference in OKC in December 1992 sponsored by Hamas and filmed by former CNN reporter Steve Emerson in " Jihad in America".

The Hamas cell and the Iraqis are still being followed in OKC by the FBI rather than being arrested or deported. KFORTV knows of the Hamas and Iraqi operations but since being bought by the New York TImes, KFORTV has not reported on Hamas in OKC and their role in the WTC attacks and in the OKC bombing and the 9/11 attacks. They FBI has asked KFORTV and other stations in OKC not to report on the Hamas cell in OKC.

BUMP

The FBI does not want to be held accountable for their failed policiy of deliberatley allowing known Abu Nidal, AlQaeda and Hamas terrorists to enter the US on student Visas so the FBI can track their operations for years. This FBI policy was described in detail before Congress in May 1995 by FBI Director Louis Freeh and can be found in the COngressional Record and news sources who reported it.

This failed FBI policy led to the OKC bombing and to the 9/11 atttacks and was facilitated by an FBI double agent working directly for Bin Laden in the US. The double agent Ali Mohammed who set up AlQaeda cells still operational in the US (according to BOb Woodward of the Washington Post late last year), all while working for the FBI. The FBI always claims they lose track of the terrorists after they let them roam in the US for years. This happened not only with Ali Mohammed but also with 9/11 pilot Mohammed Atta (also met with Iraqis in Europe) whose terror training and mission the FBI told the head of the Norman flight school about in 1999.

Assuming the FBI is telling the truth about being fooled by Ali Mohammed and Atta, then the FBI should consider a different policy, a new policy that rolls up the Hamas, Abu Nidal and AlQaeda cell members now before the FBI looses track of them again and again as they claim they have in the past.

The FBI has repeatedly said directly and through their sympathizers that FBI agents should not be held criminally accountable for any misconduct in their mishandling of terrroists cells in the US.

The attitude that the FBI and DOJ should not be held criminally accountable and are above the law should be changed by Congress. Until that attitude is changed, the FBI will continue to fail to adequately protect Americans from terrorism and more Americans will have their civil rights and freedoms violated by the FBI.

Maybe the FBI is hanging by the puppett strings.

Is it just me, or does it seem the government don't really mind Iraqi soldiers, Hamas, and the like being here.

This "report" is ALL TOO Believable!

Like the mythical "KGB," our Vaunted CIA & FBI have apparently become Sclerotic Cartoons of their Former Selves!

In the Movie, "Firefox," Clint Eastwood's character is told that one can "slip by the Nose of the Russian Bear (KGB)" by not creating any "unusual" circumstances!

One Wonders how easily this tactic might ALSO have worked on our own "Intelligence" services!

FOR SURE, we need a little Remedial "Tightening-up" of OUR "Intelligence Services!"

IMHO

Deport! Deport! Deport!

Why risk their slipping past the surveillance they surely know they are under, to commit any of a long list of possible terrorist activities.

You fight like you train. These guys will be good at being blown up with grenades.
