This Kevin Ingram thing came up this summer on another thread, which unfortunately I can't find. Maybe tomorrow when I am less tired.

I always wondered HOW Jesse Jackson got third world thugs to release hostages. It made no sense to me. Now remember when Jesse was angling on going to see the Taliban?

If you go to the thread I linked here about Arms smuggler arrested, etc., you will see that THAT Miami connection had a charter airline that went into Afghanistan.

I would LOVE to link Ingram, Jackson, and the arms smugglers directly, because I am convinced that it explains why Jesse is so secretive with his finances, why he gets prisoners released (payoffs in arms), why the Wall Street project is necessary (money laundering) and why the Bush people did NOT want him to go to Afghanistan.

Add to this his known ties to Liberia's Charles Taylor and other terror-extortion figures in East Africa. If there are any of these articles you don't already know, you might find that they round out the picture a bit.

Third, Jackson connects old buddy Vertis McManus with Taylor. Fourth, McManus makes generous gifts to Jackson's organization.

I've also read that Jackson has closed his organization's operations in Liberia, since the international horror at Taylor's regime has been growing lately. But who knows what that means concerning the real relationship between Jackson and Taylor?
