This is a joke, right? What do they expect? If they find him guilty, will they ask the USA to extradite him? The only bad thing is that he won't be able to travel to Europe anymore. OH NO!

This has to be extortion through the legal system. Why didn't these people sue the French ISP(s) which allowed web surfers to access Yahoo.com? They would actually have jurisdiction if they did that. This is just pure non-sense.

I would venture to say that these guys are toast and will be quickly found guilty.
Why not? After all, in France, a doctor can be sued for not aborting a disabled baby and then be forced to pay for its care.

The court ruled Tuesday that French law still applied to English-language sites and said it would hear allegations Yahoo was inciting racial hatred by allowing French surfers to buy . . . Stuff in English.
By the way, after you get past the make up and fashion, French women are ugly.
