I think this is 10% praise,and 90% slam via left-handed comments,ie:"She doesn't sweat much for a fat girl". Sounds to me like they did their damndest to take the good points and belittle them,while spinning the comments on Bubbette! to be strong,intelligent,and vital in contrast.
