Doris Kearns Goodwin, the prolific historian who recently acknowledged appropriating a few passages from another author's work for a book she wrote in 1987, told her publisher last week that the same book contained scores of quotations and paraphrases taken without attribution from other writers.

Please answer my question. Are you suggesting that in historical methodology that "revisionism" is a "hard science" so to speak and is not instead an attempt by the culture of the day to rewrite history? The usage you suggest is one that I would argue IS NOT common today and may well be a term used differently by historians. But you are not suggesting that but seek to attack me instead.

Being snide and nasty, while demanding extensive research, does not induce a strong desire to continue a dialogue.

The Kennedys were and are a corrupt family, living off of old Joe's criminal activities and the ensuing activities of his son Jack, who tried to bed every women he met, 'little' Teddie who crawled around under tables in bars playing "grab-ass" with the female help and his Olympic swimming event where he managed to abandon his mistress and let her die.

What a family! What national roll models. What scumbags are the Kennedys and all of their progeny.
