I hope you ladies won't let this discourage you from drinking coffee.

OMG, I walk my dog every morning with my mug in hand. It's okay, though - he's a Collie and everyone knows they can alert the whole town in cases of emergency....or at least tell Timmy.

One day I was walking down my hallway with a ceramic bowl full of spagetti right out of the microwave, the bowl had one of those handles on the side like a cup. Anyways, right at that moment the bowl decided to fail, probably from internal cracks caused by heat over time -- as the bowl fell I made a desperate attempt to catch up with it and catch it to avoid spagetti-carpet...
The bowl broke in about 3 pieces as it hit and I cut the **** out of my hand.
Two morals:
1) Quirky things can really get you good.
2) Whenever an accident is happening, remain calm, be careful -- it is very easy to overreact and hurt yourself.

At the funeral there will be a lot of styrofoam, I predict.

It's better to have a coffee mug and not need it, than to need a coffee mug and not have it!!!!!
