Today, we received word that Danny Pearl, the Wall Street Journal Reporter kidnapped by Radical Muslims in Pakistan, was murdered. Fox News reports that he was beheaded.
We could go over the gory details all day. We can eulogize Mr. Pearl all day. But, we’ve got to move forward. We’ve got to do something- once and for all- to put a stop to terrorism.
So, it was with great dismay that I read about President Bush’s plan to deal with terrorists. It represents a change in policy- now the United States Government will make concessions to hostage-takers in exchange for the release of the hostages. A report from the state department reads, "In the event a hostage-taking incident is resolved through concessions, U.S. policy remains steadfastly to pursue investigation leading to the apprehension and prosecution of hostage takers who victimize U.S. citizens,"
So, they’re going to give the hostage-takers a few million dollars in cash. Then they’re going to try and catch them. Just like they’re trying to catch Bin Laden. Good plan.
Just like when Americans were being Kidnapped in Beirut. The Government worked out deals whereby they would give the terrorists weapons, in exchange for the release of prisoners.
The only problem is that terrorists know a good deal when they see one. If they can get $1 million for kidnapping an American, why in the world wouldn’t they?
“Oh, but we’re going to hunt them down!”
Wouldn’t we do that anyway? What about this, “Smoke ‘em out of their holes” rhetoric we’ve been hearing for the past five months?
We should take a lesson from history. A few years ago, an airliner was hijacked, and it was landed in Kabul. In exchange for the release of the hostages, several Islamic Militant whack-jobs were released from prison. One of those was Sheik Omar- the man responsible for the fate of Mr. Pearl.
When some Islamic Whack-Job goes and kidnaps an American, we shouldn’t give them money. We shouldn’t give them their freedom. We should give them hell. We should hunt them down, capture them, torture them, disembowel them, inject them with pig’s blood, decapitate them, and finally bury them with the corpse of a pig. While broadcasting the whole ordeal live on Al Jazeera TV.
That’s what we should do to Sheik Omar. Its what we should do to each and every detainee in Guantanamo Bay, and its what we should do to all Islamic Terrorists. Give them hell. The kind of hell only the “Great White Satan” can give them.
And make it known that if this continues, the “Great White Satan” will proudly recreate hell in the most realistic way we can- in Mecca.
If we do this, I’ll bet you 72 virgin goats that they stop.

Wrong. They need to simply disappear without a trace. Start with the heads of the madrassas in Pakistan. One morning they should simply vanish. Some will say that the CIA killed them, others will darkly mutter that they abandoned their students. Rumors may start that they betrayed their brothers for Western cash, or that they were secretly working for the Mossad. But no one will ever see them again.
Within a year, we could have the entire Middle East looking over its collective shoulder, wondering when the dark hunters of the night will come for them...
