But in the mean-time, let's keep bending over backwards to suck up to the Pakis, forgiving their barbaric terrorist acts, while ignoring their chief victim of terrorism, the democratic and constitutional republic that is India, who has lost more than 83,000 to these thugs!

Exactly right.

Pakistan did NOTHING as far as I can tell, to help Danny Pearl. And he was held in a major city.

I am so NOT IMPRESSED by Pakistan.

Pakistan did do something. They told us we had to pay them for allowing us to be there.

That Pakistani (or Indian, I can't tell the difference) news correspondent on FOX, said that he was sure that the murder of Pearl was timed to coincide with the visit to the US by Musharaf, that this attack was designed to protest and embarass the Pakistani gov't's ties to the US. He said that this was as much an attack on the Pakistani gov't as it was on the US. He was very firm in his opinion, even when Greta VonSusteren tried to shake him, he didn't budge. He said that he has dealt with these people before and he knows what he is talking about. He also said that these terrorists were well organized, intelligent and dangerous, that they were not just some local Islamic group. He said that the people of Pakistan were appalled at the violence of these terrorists and that they felt that this would be a black mark against all Pakistan.
