Look, I'm sorry if on a trip down here, you got beat up or violated by some of our err... mountain folk.

But judging by the fact that there are tracks in Dover, New Hampshire, New York, Michigan, Chicago, etc.. that are filled to the brim every race day. And track owners are lining up, begging for a date on the calendar, I'd say it's not just a southern thang.

I bet CART would just love to borrow some fan base.

CART has been stupidly managed. I knew it would go downhill when it had an IPO. But NASCAR is fake, just a rung or two above WWF. Let's see if there's a "yellow" today to "clear debris" with, say, ten laps to go.

I'm from North AL. and like picking on Georgia. I lived there for a while and I like GA (the Rome area). You can keep Atlanta, though.

I've heard that it's almost a sin to be from AL. and not like NASCAR, but I'll take my chances.
