Seriously, this a problem begging for a solution. As much as I would love to protect those little ones, I really don't want government to do it for me. A local jury of peers should review and punish any dicovered crimes.
I feel like we're living "Animal Farm".
I seriously wonder if God thinks it's time to start over.
God Bless and save us from our government.

Seriously, this is living proof of a society that's died due to the lack of God in it. In my NEVER so humble opinion!!!!!
ArGee, mind boggling is right.
Then again, I'm not sure how the current political climate condemns Andrea Yates either. It's either OK to kill your kids, or it's not.
Brad's Gramma, I can't really give a piece of my mind any better than our great ArGee did. ArGee, you summed it up pretty well. We dug ourselves into a very deep whole in 1973. "It's either OK to kill your kids, or it's not" I guess, as ArGee said, it depends on the motivation. If you are obtaining a selfish abortion because you've got too many kids to feed already, or a man will get the CEO spot you've worked 15 years for, then it's ok to kill your child. If youre just a psycho, hormonal woman who doesn't like your kids today, then killing them is bad. Sometimes. Sometimes we feel sorry for her because we just don't understand postpartum depression well enough, or gee, she was molested as a child. Sniff. Then of course, you've got your average idiot involved in a stupid cult which tells them what to do. They are so sucked up into it, they will kill their own children if told, by feeding them water and almond milk. Im sorry, but idiocy this day and age about infant or childcare really amazes me. I cant believe people are so stupid.
Geeze, I have no idea what I'm saying. I'm rambling. I agree with ArGee that the not so fine line, but the very plain and easy to understand LINE of RIGHT and WRONG is very blurred. And I really don't appreciate the Supreme Court, the Legislature, the President, NOW, the NEA, etc.....telling me what's right and wrong. If you don't follow God's laws of what's right and wrong, for example...THOU SHALT NOT MURDER...PERIOD...life tends to get awfully complicated and ironic. Its pretty disgusting to me that we, as a nation, have to depend on the courts to tell us which lives are worth protecting and which ones arent. I guess if you are a baby, it all depends on the luck of the draw. How sad.
As far as I'm concerned, I think anyone who kills their own flesh and blood is involved in a cult. The cult of hedonisim and/or humanism. JMHO
I might be a little happier to trust the government to know these things if they were a little more consistent.
As for your question, for my sake I hope so. For many I love who would be lost, I hope He can wait a little longer.
Shalom.
It's a society that has denied itself the right to think straight (no pun intended).
Judge: You understand ma'am that you have a legal obligation to take care of that baby that's growing in your womb. Unless you want an abortion. Then it's a fetus and you are free to abort it and I am not allowed to care by law. But if you just want to avoid taking care of yourself in a way that will guarantee its health, then you have a legal obligation and I will enforce it if I have to.
Defendant: Judge, can you go on Free Republic and see Dakmar's post #3? I think it expresses my current mental state.
The end of Romans 1 comes to mind.
Shalom.
Truth bump.
I guess if you are a baby, it all depends on the luck of the draw.
Well, today it's only true for babies. Tomorrow?
Anyone remember Logan's Run?
Shalom.
Interesting point.
Shalom.
That is my dilemma as well.
God Bless,

Ditto's from me....
Just out of curiosity is this that different than Christian Scientists view?
This is where things get tricky. If all religions are equally valid, then who is to say that she was wrong for starving her baby (or aborting it or whatever)? If she was wrong, then we must have some kind of standard for evaluating the validity of a religion.
That's a dangerous situation to be in, but once upon a time we had such a standard and knew how to use it. Now we don't.
So, if I have a religion that wants me to smoke dope once a week? This has come up before and the courts ruled that society had a reson for keeping them from practicing their religion. That was the wrong ruling and is a danger to us all. It would have been far better to rule the religion not a valid religion. That can also be dangerous, but we should be able to define a valid religion in a way that is not dangerous.
Unfortunately, modern USA has denied itself the ability to make such distinctions.
Shalom.
