Pull up next to her while she was driving, and throw a Molotov cocktail or similar device through her driver's-door window. Certainly a possibility, huh?

Maybe they hit her over the head with something, (or used chloroform, or whatever) and knocked her unconscious. Then they crash the car, load it up with gas, and set that off. If they had been smarter, they would have blown the fuel tank, so it looked a little less suspicious.

I don't know why they bothered with this elaborate plan, because we ALL knew this was a hit right from the start, they should have whacked her in a simpler manner. The most important thing for obvious hits like this is just to not leave any evidence, going to great lengths to make it look like an accident only increase the likelihood of the investigators finding something.

Maybe she was knocked out when they placed her in the car, drove it where they wanted to, doused her with gas and lit a match??
