This part was particularly curious to me: conjured up a bogus argument, backed by secret CIA affidavits submitted to the court ex parte, that trying this simple defamation case would itself breach national security.
Considering the employment of Wen Ho Lee's wife - I have been wondering if he was part of a counterintelligence operation somewhere along the way. Or maybe they just want the Chinese to think that the information they got contains fatal flaws. Hmmm...
