Well, I'll believe he truly supports smaller government when he speaks out against farm subsidies.

BTW, does anyone know how one can get in on this gravy train? Can one just start being an unsuccessful farmer to qualify, or does one have to have a certain number of years experience of failure before the government starts paying you more than what your crop is worth? I'd sure like some of this dough.

I've attended one of Bill Salier's meetings. He readily admits that most of his income comes from us taxpayers, and he thanks us. He wants to revise the farm subsidy system, and open the doors of foreign nations for our farm products. Something that was promised under the Freedom to Farm Act, but never delivered.
