The husband said he woke up at 12:30 or 1:30, I don't remember and found the alarm blinking and the door open but did not think anything about it. If I had found a door open aand the alrm blinking I would have made sure nothing was wrong

I also remember reading, I believe, that he went back to sleep, but woke back up when the wife and her friends came home for that "15 minutes."

Plus it was 25* out, ultra cold for around here.

Open doors would be obvious in a minute, (unless you were stoned and screwing away in your locked garage.)
