Since even the abortionist's site distinguishes between "elective 2nd term" and "therapeutic third-term abortions," my hunch is that third-term abortion is probably prohibited in all of the states, except for the "therapeutic" dodge. I've heard pro-abortionists make much of the "except to save the life of the mother" line, as if it were some sort of landmark legal protection, when in fact doctors have always had the right, in the case of a true threat to the mother's lfe, to abort.
