Well, The supposed deal is this.. Al Queda is comprised of so-called "cells", each not knowing what the other is doing, supposedly. However, this is not the case. This is proof that this was a highly coordinated effort with knowledge of other attacks the same day by different people within the organization. The ringleaders (pilots) each knew that there were at least 4 planes (possibly more) targeted for hijackings with kamikaze style suicide attacks. I am saying that all the pilots knew what was happening that day. They understood the magnitude of a mass attack of this nature, the magnitude gave each of them the incentive to "martyr" their satanic asses.

And I'll add that all islamic groups are one and the same. ie, Hezbullah, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Islamic Jihad.. They might be commited to the local causes primarily, but I am sure that their members freely interchange.

Atta could afford trips to Madrid with the $100,000 afforded him by Lt. Gen. Mamud Ahmed of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence. At the general's insistence Ahmad Umar Sheikh had wired the money to Atta. Sheikh was one of the three militants who hijacked an Indian Airlines plane in 1999.
I wonder who motivated Ahmed? Did he do this on his on...or was it at the request of the Shanghai Five?

Awww, come on Wallaby. The pilot thingy can all be explained away by the fact that Pakistan was going to be getting those fighter planes the Wall St. reporter's kidnappers were demanding be delivered. They had to be piloted and the men getting those flying lessons were going to be needed to fly them. The "big plane" flying lessons were only introductory training.
9-11 just got in the way. Those guys weren't on Jihad until someone told them to go on Jihad and it took away their ability to return to their home countries and be good productive members in heir society.
Shoot, they're still sending folks for flying lessons in anticipation of receiving those aircraft. I'm sure they'll eventually get to training them even further just like with the Saudi pilots. Top Gun fun! Maybe an airbase or two to go along with it...

Oh? So if Al Qaeda needs to get some supplies or set up camp in lebanon, Hezbollah won't help them because they have different goals/politics/morals?
