Ought we not grant Jihad Johnny's express wish to never see America again as he emailed his mother several years ago? Isn't holding him within the Great Satan cruel and unusual punishment? Ought we not push him down the open ramp of a C-130 in the roaring fifty-below blackness of the Afghanistan stratosphere?

Release Jihad Johnny to his 72-Count 'em-72 virgins.

And his lawyer, the former hyena pursuing Casper Weinberger and Clarence Thomas.

The government has charged over a score of those acts, and if even one is proved, Lindh ought to be convicted of virtually, if not actually, everything with which he is charged.

Michael Savage and others in the media seem to think he's going to walk on all this. I don't, while he may not get the death penalty, no jury is going to be sympathetic to him. He's going away for a long time.

From the article: "... Lindh ought to be convicted of virtually, if not actually, everything with which he is charged. "

I think that Al Qaeda, and HUM, and the Taliban are each actually two organizations, consisting of the members who are older than 30 and those who are younger. That means that Johnny is actually guilty of twice as many counts as outlined above.

For any act which Johnny actually committed, he is also charged with conspiring to commit that act. Since he obviously hated those who were the targets of each act, he is also guilty of a hate crime associated with each act. And he is, of course, guilty of conspiring to commit each of those hate crimes.

On top of everything else, Johnny is also charged with keeping and bearing arms during the commission of his various crimes.

What a country!
