No, no. Tonight's CBS Evening News was very moving. At the end, after a tribute to our men lost in the Chinook, Dan had tears in his eyes and could barely talk. I'm sticking with Dan for the duration.

I saw Rather on Letterman after 9/11, Letterman's first show since the attack. I was moved; I think his emotion was sincere.

Using "heart" in the modern, un-Biblical sense, I think Rather's heart may be in the right place. But his head's all screwed up. And he doesn't see the conflict.
