Um, can I delete my own thread?

Apparently I am a permanent newbie no matter how much I lurk.

Perhaps we should move on to something completely different.(thanks for the clues)

No you're not a permanent newbie ko_kyi. And we've all been "newbies". They're just looking for fun. If you want post a reply to Admin Moderator and ask them to pull the thread. Welcome to FreeRepublic! (-:

Actually, it is metamorphic; first there were moose, then there was cheese, now, everyone knows moose do not eat cheese but people do and over time, moose became attracted to the lingering odor of cheese, "Why can't we eat cheese," Moses Moose asked. Since no one had an answer, Moses set out to find cheese; after a short while he came upon this nubile young thing who simply reeked of cheese. Moses sneaked quietly up behind her and following the lingering scent, nipped at the source of this oh, so tantalizing odor.

Well, the rest is history, as they say, and now, cheese-eating moose are in the same category as egg-sucking dogs.

The nubile miss rushed home in great pain afflicted on her nether parts and reported the strange occurance posthaste; well, her brother, not one to stand for insults against his kin, dutifully reported it here on the most-read website in mooseland, and the legend is retold each time a moose is misled by his errant nose.
