Honestly, I think that this was on purpose.
Hear me out before you rush to judgement. Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson has said numerous times that in his protestations of Je$$e Jack$son that he has been called that name by the Jack$on sycophants and hangers-on.
Niger Ennis and Rev. J. L. Peterson have one thing in common that brings names like this out in plain view: THEY ARE CONSERVATIVE BLACKS.
Trust me, I've been called this and much worse.

OK - I'm convinced... lol....you can giggle, heck you might even be able to chuckle...and for all I know, a guffaw might pass your lips occasionally.... but, one thing I do know is that biomedical engineers, hell, all engineers for that matter, can not, and I repeat CAN NOT belly laugh!
