The people who push this Big Brother revenue enhancement scheme on people say that they're concerned about safety but everyone knows this is just about the money. Perhaps the people killed in the WTC and Pentagon attacks would be alive today if these concerned public servants(think I'm gonna gag)would use their Big Brother technology to detect terrorists instead of speeders. I guess there's no money in that, except 600 billion dollars!

I guess there's no money in that, except 600 billion dollars!I vaguely remember recently reading a story about how New York state's revenue from traffic tickets was way down due to redeployment of police to NYC after September 11th. I'd be very interested to see just what the traffic accident statistics were for that period when they were not writing tickets.
