Brit Hume just had a report on "Special Report" about Gray Davis (California governor) taking over $119,000 from Enron, more than anyone in Congress!
He showed a clip of Dim-bulb getting grilled by reporters on the State Capitol steps, and he was losing his temper as he stated that he has stopped taking contributions from energy companies since he became governor. He refuses to return the money.

Brit also reported that former LA mayor Dick Riordan is leading Davis by 8 points in the polls, and Bill Simon is about to roll out an endorsement ad featuring Rudy Guiliani!
Dim-bulb, make your time!

So Gray Davis arranged the energy shortage to benefit a big Texas energy company and screw the CA taxpayer. That about it? Say, that has a nice ring to it. Glad to see the RAT exposed.

"He stopped taking contributions from Enery Companies when he became governor" NO KIDDING...INSTEAD, he hired their execs as "consultants", charged the Californian sheeple multiple energy rates, and pushed the laws to favor those who were "behind his policies"! TO borrower an old WB Bugs Bunny phrase "What a NIN COW POOP"!

Babs Boxer was spouting off about President Bush and Enron. She better shut up about Enron now or she'll hurt the democraps. For victory & freedom!!!

What's especially great about this is that last night on the news, Davis was blaming Enron for California's energy crisis. Please, oh please, let this get widespread coverage here.
To: Henchster
So how about someone asking politicos how much they made of the Enron stock they just happened to sell at the right time? Inquiring minds want to know....

The Giuliani ads are already running. Davis is slime.
Not sure if Simon can overtake Riordan, but the fact that Davis is weak is a good sign if he does.

This puts Davis ahead of Kay Baily Hutchison by about $10,000. I wonder "how insulting" Fritz Hollings considers that!

We now know why Fritz was so peeved yesterday - EVERYBODY got more money from Enron than he did!
To: Henchster
He was just taking the money like Traficant in his first bribery trial, as part of an undercover sting.

OK: let me get this straight:
Gray-Out Davis says Enron ripped-off California by charging outrageously high fees for spot-market electricity.
Gray-Out says power companies like Enron should reimburse California utilities and ratepayers.
Enron funneled some of those fees to Gray-Out.
So when is Gray-Out going to return the $119,000 to California utilities and ratepayers?
