I don’t promote this idea either (You now bear false witness against me) and your opinion of me bearing false witness was presented referencing the following. You have advocated imprisonment of individuals for the "crime" of consenting adult homsexuality, on several occasions, have you not?
Yes I have advocated jail for sodomites but, that’s a far cry from beating them with sticks. We should beat no one with a stick. (Not even Grandma) We jail all sorts of people for other perverted sex acts when they get caught. This is an acceptable punishment. I don't advocate life in prison for this offense any more than having sex with a Goat would gain the offender a life sentence. I do not believe that is the standard sentence for this type of thing. I do not know what the standard sentence is but I believe there is one, it’s just not being used most of the time.
We do jail people for having sex with animals (This is sodomy too)!
