Yes, and it's an infection that helped give us the current Clinton infestation.

Hi Goody
thanks for the bumpette
I was too young to respond to Kennedy mystique
His campaign truck stopped behind our ice cream truck when I was walking home from school
and he said if he weren't living where he was he wished he lived in Electchester
As young I was then, I did not believe it was his dream to live in a housing project in Flushing
Recently I watched the stuff on history channel to get to know him
I think he was a playboy who had a talent for getting what he wanted
Love, Palo

Re: "Ask not..." JFK felt free to lift that line from the headmaster of Choate who in his opening day speech always said "Ask not what your school can do for you, ask what you can do for your school."
Is this really true? If so, another unveiling of the Kennedy mistig\que, right out of a prep school exhortation.

It's simple: If you're a Democrat, photogenic, politically connected, morally unscrupulous, and you get your brains splattered all over the back of a limousine in Dallas, you're a hero. It doesn't matter that you practically dragged the country into Armageddon, left soldiers to die on the beach, or set us up for a fall in Vietnam.

Last Note: The Media used the Kennedy assasinations as their drive and Will to Power whereby late 20th century journalism and the media have been tainted by the Kennedy fraud.
Perhaps in a little less than 2000 years, our ancestors may be worshiping a tan John Kennedy on a yacht rather that Christ on a Cross.

Hi ~ Yes, absolutely, gratingly true. The boys of JFK's time heard it yearly from Headmaster St.John.

You forgot the part about a papa who bought the politics of Boston. Where did he get his money?

It is still so difficult to believe that even at university there would not be open discussion about the issues you are describing. Yet, I lived to watch our nation accept Clinton, and I witnessed what he did, so it makes sense that FDR and JFK would remain untouchable.

It is so refreshing to hear the truth. Amazing that I went to a conservative university, and began my major in history; (thank goodness, I switched to finance, but the clincher about JFK is evident--it was a Catholic U.

The Kennedy "myth" is built on a foundation of corruption. It's fairly well known that Joe Kennedy made his fortune running booze during the Great Depression. He was no better than Al Capone. The difference is that Kennedy bought respectability. Capone didn't care about it one way or another. Joe Kennedy bought himself a diplomatic post and, after his own failed appeasement of the Nazis brought his own political career to ruin, Joe bought JFK a seat in Congress.

I haven't forgotten about it, bu6 the entire family history is too long to repeat here. For those who want the entire story, read John F, Kennedy: a question of character by Reeves. It's now out of print but occasionally appears in used book stores and large libraries.

Have you ever watched Jerry Springer? Those freaks (regrettably) represent the core constituency of the Democratic Party.

Kennedy was the first Bill Clinton and made the Clintons possible. The two most corrupt presidents in order of corruption were 1) JFK and 2) Clinton.

I admit that I did watch part of the show, once, out of curiosity. Is Marv Alpert a Dem?
To: Angelique
Is Marv Alpert a Dem?
He isn't listed in the FEC database. Not sure. But would it really surprise you if he turned out to be a Democrat? He has the pervert pedigree...

Not everything about JFK is as simplistic as this thread indicates.

It's fairly well known that Joe Kennedy made his fortune running booze during the Great Depression. First, RLK, thank you for the referral to the book. I really do not know what running booze is, other than it is illegal, but my dem friend told me that Lieberman's dad did this. During the campaign, I think sanctimonious Joe painted quite a different picture.
