Fat, lazy, stupid piece of human waste you are. Taking statements made out of context, to try and make me feel bad.

Well, it didn't work. Try again, sucker. I don't owe you a dime.

I quoted your post in its entirety. If you feel bad think about what you said.

Hey, can't compete, put up your feet!

Do you always insult people you don't know? Or is that the way you argue when you have nothing else to say?

These H-1B VISA holders you crap on built our technology powerhouses, so that losers like you could post your idiotic unproductive, and un-American messages.

I hope we get more of them, and less of the complaining lazy fat people like you.

They create jobs and keep the USA competitive, while people like you always find a new way to leach off the system. Pathetic.

You go girl. Is that you Rosie?

A very timely article. In Detroit over the last year we have lost about 75,000 engineering and technical jobs, nearly all of them from middle aged, middle level, typically white, males. The only resort they have is temporary contract work, competing with the H1-Bs directly. Their retirement is gone, their kids education consist of night school at community college, they cannot get decent insurance as their health fails and they are destined to live out the remains of their lives doing these temporary jobs.
BUT!
The Crap filled management, like the ex Ford CEO Nasser and his hero Jack Welch, pride themselves in how much money they have saved the company by screwing as many people as they can get their hands on. And the poor H1-B saps are just useful idiots in this sick game.

Here's a Feb '02 article from a tech contractor who's worried about the flood of H-1Bs driving down the wages he can demand to support his family. Behold the trrue purpose of the H-1B -- driving down salaries.

Read it an get mad.

I'm already mad about this stab in the back to our own people. Congress and their allegiance to their corporate backers bear the responsibility. Globalism is antithetical to the Constitution and America.

koba, I'm very well aware of that...It's true. I also believe that our government is too quick to capitulate to industry chieftains on matters of immigration when it should be trying using its influence to create the conditions where more Americans have an incentive to go into technology areas.

A few decades ago, engineering was a big thing in America and millions of people went into the field. Somewhere down the line, and I don't know why, but engineering and science in general became something of a less cherished life pursuit in America. It became all about money, law, media, medicine etc. (a doctoral thesis could be written on this and why). Meanwhile many of our schools with the NEA's and liberals' help went to hell.

Yet, what’s done is done and now the task of fixing this stands before us. America simply cannot forever import technical help and expect to remain a superpower long-term. And the excessive granting of H1-B visas is only aggravating the problem. Maybe many of our high tech companies should contract out more to other nations for their technical needs. At least this would stabilize the situation in America until a longer term solution emerges.

LOL ... Mr ABAG can't stand opposition to his beloved left-wing corporate welfare program, can he? ;-)

... and Mr ABAG claims we're bolsheviks for protecting the American Consitution and American interests. ABAG has sold his soul to corporate profits, and could really care less about the Consitution.

I hope Tom Tancredo runs for Congress again next year. We need him to continue the good fight against un-Constitutional corporate welfare.

Yeah...engineering until recently used to be a lot less paying than medicine (it still is somewhat less-paying) and did not have the glamour of a field like law. Nobody ever put out a show called "L.A. Engineering" but they have put out "L.A. Law" and "L.A. Doctors." It's still considered somewhat of a "nerd" profession too. These are some possible factors in why Americans generally don't go into engineering as much as in other fields and why the foreign-born are more and more represented in it.

Go join the Communist party, because obviously, free markets, personal rights in who to and not to hire, and private legal contracts between an employer and an employee are not things you are a fan of.

The ironic thing about your neo-con positions are that it results in America getting swapped with 3rd world peoples that have very little appreciation for the values of our republic, system of governance, and heritage. Yes, they tend to vote for the party of socialism...particularly the Mexicans. It is people like you that are raising taxes on people like me because YOU want cheap labor. If we ever get communism or heavy socialism in America (we already got socialism-Lite) we can thank you free-trading jokers that can't think ahead more than one year.

I think ABR is a member of NOW, she certainly seems to use the same techniques.

BTW what does the acronym ABAG mean?

LOL. Yeah, try getting a show like "L.A. Engineering" into production. Yep, TV has played a significant role in shaping American minds...most of it in the wrong direction. America has become a victim of her own success to some extent.

You'd just salivate at the opportunity to regulate my ability to conduct my small business, wouldn't you?

didn't Ken Lay say that last week?

Time for a new verb.
If getting a congressional hit squad to destroy your reputation is "getting Borked".
And getting a hummer from the lowly office help is "getting a Lewinsky"
Wouldn't having your CEO destroy your company and career be " Getting Layed"?

After reading a few of your posts I begin to get an ugly picture of what you must be like.

An arrogant ignorant A$$ whole who is squandering his inheritance pretending to be an entrepreneur. Surrounded by suck up yes men who hate your guts and can't wait to see you go under.

I could be wrong, but that is the image you present.
