Sure can. Heather's two mommies are twice as good as one mommy! Simple 'rithmetic!

Citing estimates suggesting that as many as 9 million U.S. children have at least one gay parent, the academy urged its 55,000 members to take an active role in supporting measures that allow homosexual adoption.

WHY ONLY ONE GAY PARENT, WHEN A KID COULD HAVE TWO? (Logic 101 for med school students and pediatric specialists.)

When it comes to the left--CNN--we should vote with their bias---make fools of themselves!

No 47% Yes 53%. We have a slim lead.

No, gay couples can't make good adoptive parents. Research has shown that children need parents of both genders - a mom and a dad. Two moms or two dads aren't as good. Any good parent wants what is best for their child. A gay couple starts out asking for second best for their child. Ergo, they aren't good parents.

Shalom.

Next up on the CNN Poll: "Can apples make a good citrus fruit (or are they different than oranges)?"

Welcome. The first and foremost concern should be for the children.

I voted. Came here to post a topic, did a search and saw that it was already on the freep list

Interesting how they chose to word the question: "CAN they make good parents?". I voted "no" because a "yes" will be interpreted as "Americans think homosexual couples make just as good parents as heterosexual couples."

Homesexuality is indeed a deciding factor. A man does not know he is a man - what kind of sick mind is that and what does that person have to do in raising a child. Not knowing/accepting your own gender does not contribute to functional, nurturing, wise and healthy parenting. How can homosexuals and lesbians help young children develope into healthy adults; a man is a man a woman is a woman and those who choose to enjoy perversion have no business passing their bondages into younger minds.

Please state your reasoning as to how a homosexual couple can provide a child with a mother and father.

You forgot - do they exhibit normal male/female relationships. Since homosexuals want to be considered normal as opposed to freaks, allowing children to be adopted would be the same as saying the state recognizes homosexuals as normally functioning human beings. Behavior of the adoptive parents HAS to be part of the criteria.

Normal for homosexuals is achieving orgasms with the same sex, and they would be exhibiting cuddling, fondling, kissing of the same sex in FRONT of the child. This is quite sick. Horrid, actually. ( Normal for serial killers is continuous killing.)

I saw this poll on cnn as well. The obvious answer is hell no! But I was AMAZED at how close the voting was.

It is close because pro-sodomite organizations across America have been made aware of this poll, and have encouraged homosexuals to vote early and often, whereas normal people are too busy going about their lives to be concerned with some silly poll on the dying CNN website.

If you have been taking in "Court TV" you will see the Marxist's and the gay lobby in action. There is a custody suit going on between the natural mother and a former "husband" (Sex change person). The show has real bias and I'm sure watched closely by the Dems.. hopeing the "husband" gets partial custody.. The one witness's testimony for the mother (a Mennonite pastor lady) was the object of a "blanking out" of the cable channel by alien sattelite zapping occurance and then followed by a "Minister" dug up from LA of the gayish church of who knows what.

Evidently FLA has a non adoption law for gays.. and they are trying to break it.. the participants seem to be caught in the middle. Maybe hoping the thing will go to the Gore/Supremes.. ??? Have never seen such extreem bias and hate against Christians in the commentarys.. One to watch with a barf bag handy..

Wait a minute. . . in a thread devoted to deliberately biasing a poll, you complain that the other side deliberately biased the poll?

Of course, the American Academy of Pediatrics disagrees with what your "research" shows.

An academy report, based on related research, says "there's no existing data to support the widely held belief that there are negative outcomes" for children raised by gay parents. . .

But they're only doctors whose careers are devoted to the well-being of children. You, on the other hand, know the truth, having frequented many websites addressing the subject!
