Umm, what do you consider to be 'obsolete' HW?? Would a Pentium I running at 100 Mhz be 'obsolete' to you??

Can you buy parts for it? Yes.
Can it fulfill a useful computer function? Yes.
Doesn't sound obsolete to me.

Well, this message is being composed on a Power Mac 8100/100. Circa early 1995.

Oh, yes, we all remember the great promise of Apple when they started up the company in early 1995.
