This treatment totally upsets their belief system. They become completely disoriented, and more pliable.

Okay, fine. I have no problem with screwing with their heads. In fact, screwing with their heads is a noble cause. Which is PRECISELY why I have a problem with PSYCHOTHERAPY. No. Uh-unh. Not going for it.

Well, I am not going to get into a discussion of psychotherapy, I don't think it works. The article says they are being "treated" for some disorders. I took this to mean that they were being given drugs. Sounds good to me.
