Break out the tinfoil hats and pass them around. On the radio this morning I heard a conspiracy is taking shape. Apparently no one noticed that the THE CLOCK STARTED before the "winning" field goal and EVEN after the field goal kick there was STILL 2 seconds left on the clock but Madden on cue shouts "Game Over" and so it was. The RAMS never touched the ball again. Not to mention that it should have been the Raiders in the Superbowl but the NFL "fixed" it. Does it really suprise anyone that the PATRIOTS won the Superbowl?

This team amazed me all season long and today...the air smells a bit sweeter and the sun shines a bit brighter.

You know, I noticed that there was at least 2 ticks left on the clock as the ball sailed through, and I was clinging on to the shred of a miracle TD return on the kickoff...I wonder at what point a field goal is whistled dead after it's made? Maybe it's discretionary....or maybe it's when the ball falls to the ground. Or passes the plane of the field goal posts maybe.
