Agreed.

There are no atheists in hell. That's a good reason to be an atheist!

Jesus says otherwise, and you know it. You may know what a bunch of goat herders said. That don't make it so. Sure were a lot of people killed in the name of the Christian Church. Or are we still sweeping that bit of history under the rug.
Religious fanatics are deadly. I don't care what religion the grok.

I agree with that assessment, as well... in fact, I'd wager he's being a lot more fair than I could ever be if I were in charge... which probably explains why I'll never be in charge... ;0)

Religious fanatics are deadly. Like Stalin, Pol Pot, and the rest of the atheists.
Give it a rest, you people are far more dangerous than anybody; there is no God to whisper in your ear when you get off track. Only Satan, whether you believe in him or not.

As a nonbeliever myself, it's a proven fact that more have been murdered in the attempt to spread Atheism than the attempt to spread Christianity.

Indeed, a peaceful religion. What these people need is more aid from the U.S. This will allow them to immunize and better feed their children. Perhaps to educate them in the ways of their culture (love islam, hate the U.S.) That way theyll grow up into healthier adults capable of throwing larger stones, harder and quickening the stonees death.
Face it, these are barbarians. They may be Human like us, but theyre not People like us. Getting outraged over the backwards things they do is a lot like getting outraged over the some injustice done in Mesopotamia. Society was a lot less advanced.

Spreading communism is not the same thing as spreading atheism.

Ah yes, Islam: the religion of peace and mercy. Well, exactly! One might even go so far as to say that islam is .... A Killer Religion

The Christians did pretty good for themselves considering the weapons at hand when they were still allowed to rule.
Like I said though fanatics of any sort are deadly -- religious or what have you.

Sure - a communist society can conceivably exist with religion (our society is half way there), but high on the list of the goals of the great 20th century murderers was the abolition of religion.

Only because Stalin had relatively modern weapons. The Christians did pretty good for themselves considering the weapons at hand when they were still allowed to rule. And he only was prevented from murdering a billion people because the "Christians" had relatively modern weapons, too.

They didn't want the existing mysticism (religion) to compete with their own mysticism (communism).

Sure - a communist society can conceivably exist with religion For further information, see Europe. :)

A few years ago, I saw a news report about Pakistan. It seems that if a woman reports a rape and there is not enough evidence to convict (i.e. male witnesses). Then the woman is charged with adultery. The story interviewed many women in jail for basicly reporting their rape.

Well, that's the difference - uncoerced religion can flourish in a free society, but uncoerced communism will die in its first stage.
Hence the need to abolish freedom and religion.
To: Senator Pardek
uncoerced religion can flourish in a free society Always thought it was telling that where there's a tradition of church-state, as in Europe, most folks aren't religious. But here, in the secular US of A, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a true believer.
And believe me. I swing a lot of dead cats.

I'm a big fan of G.W.Bush but this "Isam is a peaceful religion" crap is getting on my nerves. Someone needs to buy the man a Koran.-MM
To: Senator Pardek
And he only was prevented from murdering a billion people because the "Christians" had relatively modern weapons, too. Last I looked we have a secular government, not a Christian government. Most of the brainiacs building the atom bomb were atheists, thank god. :-)
