youre making false comparisons by comparing people IN AMERICA doing their jobs to people in PAKISTAN doing their "jobs."

An American doing their job is an American doing their job. Where is of no importance. Like I said before, many Americans are putting themselves at risk everyday right here in America to do their job.

please tell us youre kidding. do you recall condoleeza rice asking the "americans in media doing their job" to kindly calm down with the jubilant airing of osama's rantings back in november? are you a reporter by any chance? know one? love one? this is no vendetta against reporters, but please dont say an american doing their job is an american doing their job IN THIS CASE. call the kidnappers yourself and tell them what youre telling us, and dont be offended by the dial tone you hear after you tell them, "we have freedom of the press here in america!"

And I ask again, if an American businessman on business in Columbia is kidnapped by drug lords should the US Military go in and get him?

Are we to celebrate those who preform those jobs recklessly when the need for recklessness does not exist?
