The various responses to this "news" are all over the place. I am happy that those that voice extreme views are not in charge right now.

President Bush and his team seem to know what to do, and I will allow them the time to do it.

If this news is true, then it just one more verification that those that are making war against the United States do no understand us, or the changes that have occured since 9-11.

They will do what they have to do, and we will do what we have to do. I just wonder if in a moment of reflection if they ever wonder if they may have gone too far?

Nope, fanatics feel they can never do enough for their cause. They are so guilt ridden over their personal falts and impurities that they feel the only way to cleanse themselves is by causing pain, either to self or others. That is one reason that most major religions include some form of atonement ceremony that allows the angst to be shed in peaceful, constructive ways. In the mean time those who choose such forms of evil as murder must be destroyed.
