This talk of blaming Daniel Pearl for being kidnapped is DISGUSTING! And I PRAY that they have not killed him and am holding out hope since they are still asking for money and haven't shown his body.

Hey, I am not blaming him for being kidnapped, I am just saying that it is not the Governments, nor the Militarys responsibility to go and get him out. He took a massive risk and he knew the risks before he went.

It may sound cold and insensitive, but facts is facts.

we sympathize with him, and we dont blame him entirely, but he does have to shoulder some of the blame. he was warned, he is not special, he is a western reporter in an evil quagmire. he knew the risk he was taking.

You don't suppose we can get the Red Cross to go in there and check him out, do you?
Maybe confirm that he is being afforded all the protections spelled out in the Geneva Conventions.
I hear the Red Cross is really serious about prisoners' rights.
