I didn't say I was "writing off the crusades".

All I'm saying is that your attempt to draw a moral equivalency displays your willingness to use your appalling ignorance of history as a weapon to attack Christianity. You can't lump the Church in with Islam based on the Crusades any more than you can lump the USA in with the taliban based on the war on terror.

Slamming Christianity for responding to Islamic aggression/atrocities is no different that slamming the USA for doing the same with a smarmy "aren't governments fun?"
