It is unlikely that many reporters other than Geraldo (thus, the sidearm) and Amanpour work directly for the Mossad. Most probably do work for the CIA or the Russians or the Iranians or all of them. Why would anyone expect presstitutes outside the US to be less likely to be on the take than those we see every day inside the US? As a group, they can not be trusted to honestly perform the 1st Ammendent functions they claim to.

>As a group, they can not be trusted to honestly perform the 1st Ammendent functions they claim to.Yes, just in general, this guy is probably scum. But he's our scum and we shouldn't let these third world mud heads jerk us around.
Perhaps -- in the spirit of WTO global trade and fair trade and all the capitalism stuff -- somebody can arrange a trade for this WSJ guy?
I'd suggest we give them a Couric, a Geraldo, a Walters and a Helen Thomas and they give us back this guy. Then we all go our separate ways...

I respect journalists for the Wall Street Journal. I can't see why you would lump Pearl with your examples. In any case, a US citizen has been kidnapped by Islamic barbarians. I don't think that this is the time for a rant against the dominant media. We should all defend fellow citizens regardless of their politics.
Bizarre.
