Telepathic Football Threatens Chilean Teens
VILLA SAN RAFAEL, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Forget Bigfoot or the Mothman. The newest paranormal creature is a four-legged football.
Believe it or not, a creature matching that exact description has been sighted threatening teenagers in Villa San Rafael, Chile.
Researchers at the Calama UFO Center in Chile claim the mysterious menace has wings, a face like a large bulldog and is "shaped like a rugby football with legs."
Paranormal researcher Dr. Virgilio Sanchez-Ocejo isn't sure if the creature is one of those goat-sucking chupacabras, but admits both animals telepathically communicate with humans.
The winged football is just one of hundreds of strange creatures that have been terrorizing Chile since 1999 and Dr. Sanchez-Ocejo suspects the mysterious beings are entering Chile through a dimensional doorway.

Dear Pirate AC
My dear Freddie...You are so adorable and naughty brave to tell all your wenches of your courtly black heart throbbing to Suicidio... Mistress Goody is all a-twitter. How her Pirate must have adored Fantasia.
But now, punto in aria peeping through tattered peach silks, wench Goody begs your indulgence...a whim. Might she have... a pet?
PS..I promise to be good as gold. Business before pleasure...surely les belles dames will help me... ~ Your own Goody

Hi Does he look like yours?

That is the only saving grace about going to the grocery store...buying plants...I bought two shamrock plants, and two hyacinth plants...shamrocks for St Pattys day coming up...one in the window in my computer room, and gave one to the hubby to put in his playroom....and I also have the hyacinth plants in my computer room...I got them where they are just getting ready to completely bloom...the smell is wonderful...
Now, I need a glass of 'Blind Pig' draft beer, straight from the 'growler' bought yesterday...I hate that grocery shopping so much, I always have a drink after my excursion to the store....

I have had three different bassets...this one in the pic looks very similar to mine, altho my three had more brown on their legs and back....Most bassets are combos of white, brown, and black in varying degrees...but there are also what are called 'lemon' colored bassets, which are more white, with a lot of tan speckling mixed in...However, I did once see a picture of a basset hound which was completely white...it was not an albino basset, just that he was almost all white, except for some very faint tan speckling on his back....he was really cute, and odd to see, as most bassets dont look like that...

Yes...they are so cute and floppy funny looking with their short little legs. I hear they are hunting dogs...what could they catch I wonder?!
To: GoodyBrown
They are supposed to be great hunting dogs, because of their tremendous noses...second only to the bloodhound...its also that fabulous sense of scent that gets them into trouble...they smell something and off they go following the scent...Palo has had her times with Lulu disappearing when the scent grabs her, and my own Helga, disappeared many a time, following a scent...they just run, and dont come back when you call them, as they are so stubborn, and they know they are not lost, they just think you are looney for calling them...
Thats why there are so many basset hounds in basset rescue...people have a hard time putting up with their running away, their stubborness, their constant shedding, and their 'gamey' smell...
As far as hunting goes, truth is that of course they are not speedy(Thats why so many bassets are named 'Speedy' or some such 'fast' name, in direct contradiction to their nature)....I think their prowess in hunting is in locating the 'prey', rather than running it down...and those short little legs, let then burrow into holes, locating the 'prey'

I hate computers. I got booted offline and lost what I had typed before. Now, where was I? Ah, yes. I remember now. (Isn't that a how a Queensryche song starts off?)
The nuts must've drank the water while you were gone.
I myself have had poetry popping out of my head. Probably insanity induced by the oddness of the past week.
Now, I don't write poetry. And no, I won't post it. It's deplorable and and indecipherable. I only read what others wrote.
Robert Frost, Lewis Carol.... and such.
Now that I suspect I have lost my mind and am showing it here... Insanity is a gift given to those that are incapable of understanding life.

Ahhhh..my Capt'n my dear,
I had nothing to fear,
that when you drew near,
you'd need more than your beer.
I filled you with whiskey,
you began to get frisky,
and I whispered sweet nothings
into your ear.
You stumbled and fell,
and as far as could tell,
you knew I was Gran
as you peered with a leer.
So I fixed up your bed,
put cold clothes on your head,
and smiled in relief,
when you called me your dear...
A new day is dawning,
all strangers take warning,
this Gran has been sharpning
her new Pinking Shears...
