Simon has gained support in EVERY poll that has come out since the debate. GO SIMON!

This guy spends a little money on radio and, all of a sudden, he's rocketing. Outstanding. Now, let's just hope he's for real. I've had enough of phony conservatives for awhile.

A telling finding is this: "
Fewer than half of Davis' fellow Democrats are committed to supporting his reelection. The governor received poor marks among registered voters for his leadership abilities and just about 8 in 10 of those surveyed opposed Davis' solution to the state's $12-billion budget shortfall."
Davis is extremely vulnerable. However, while Bill Simon may be rallying conservative Republicans to his candidacy, he still needs to demonstrate he can take advantage of Davis' vulnerability. So far, the polls don't indicate that he has demonstrated that.

The endorsement of the CA Pro-Life Council convinced me he's a true blue conservative.

I hope Bill Jones takes a hint and pulls out of this race. We need to all conservatives to unite behind one candidate.
To: evilsmoker
Which conservatives actually supports Bill Jones? This guy has been as milk-toast as possible since at least 1998. He practically ran as a democrat last time to prevent being swept out with Matt Fong and Dan Lundgren. I don't really understand anybody thinking he is anything but a 'moderate' republican.

Thanks - very cool!

Let's hope that the RINOs stay home during the primary. (And let's hope that the "Declined-to-state" voters are right there on the couch next to them!) It would be so nice if there was actually a Republican in the gubernatorial race.
(And on a side note, I just noticed that you can't say "gubernatorial" without saying "goober". I think that says a lot!)

I'm not even sure I'd call Jones a moderate after the debate last week. Anyone willing to remove the pro-life plank from the GOP platform is a full-blown lib in my book.

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have been right all along. Simon is the only real conservative who can win. The polls now show it so it is time for everybody to really rally.

The L.A Slimes would love to see Gray Davis have an undistinguished weak sister running against him in November. Why would they be pulling all the stops out to support Dickie Pooh? The fact he's a liberal and the hometown boy bespeaks to the bias that dares not reveal its name.
