Jeb Bush is going to take a significant hit on this. Just how big a hit depends on how he handles it. The best strategy for him to employ is total candor --- not slick lawyerly evasions.
Beckett, I disagree. Mug shot photos at that hour make anyone look like a strung out drug addict.
And, with respect to your comments about "they should have known" -- they DID know. They ALREADY made PUBLIC announcements in past years that ONE of their children had a drug problem. They never identified which one. Consequently, the only "surprise" in this story for me was that THIS is the child they were talking about -- not the boys.
And, I don't think he will take a hit on this. Too many people have kids who have drug problems.
Plus, if she initially took this drug because she was suffering from depression, that is several million MORE people you are talking about in this country -- most of whom, BTW, are FEMALES and depressed.

Plus, if she initially took this drug because she was suffering from depression, that is several million MORE people you are talking about in this country -- most of whom, BTW, are FEMALES and depressed. To illustrate the utter hypocrisy of the left on this, look at the Yates position. The woman drowns her children and blames her actions in part on PPD and also the taking on anti-depressants. NOW and several other folks run to her side and say "well, she was pushed over the edge", fawning pity and telling us that it is not her fault, it's due to the drugs, etc.
Yet, with Noelle (sp?), it's time to make hay, and why because she is the relation of the President. Where's the statement that millions of women suffer from depression?
Please, calling all Dem and left-wing lurkers - MAKE NOELLE BUSH AN ISSUE! You will make the 2002 Election Cycle much more pleasant for the GOP.
