You are, of course, free to call him what you want. But considering the people who use the term, "Shrub," (doesn't the Doonesbury idiot do so?), I think you will find that your intentions here will almost always be misinterpreted. I think most people here consider the term an insult. You may not, but that's probably how it will be perceived.

I always thought the nickname Shrub was clever and amusing, regardless of the political proclivities of those who coined and popularized it. I like it even better, now that the dear little Shrub has gone and gotten himself elected President, engineered us a nice tax cut, and is kicking terrorists' butts around the world. I want a button that reads "SHRUB POWER!".
