I don't care who is attacked based on looks, or whether they are political or not. The point is, this particular thread INSTANTLY became gross sexual jokes and mean statements about her "ugliness". This brutally unfair and juvenile about any woman, let alone one who is not that unattractive in the photo chosen.

It is how we look to the outside that bothers me first... as I said in the thread:

Manners is behaving when others are watching. Class is not having to change your behavior because someone is watching.

I think it is possible to teach manners, and class comes later.

As always, this is my humble opinion... I am not here to tick everyone off over Chelsea Clinton. Jeepers I hope I pick a better battle than that to fight. In the theme of a "kindler, gentler FR" I meant only point out one new thread that I felt was crossing a line, and see if the Moderator, or anyone else, agreed.

I agree with you in spirit, but not when speaking of ANYTHING Clinton. She is the spawn of Bill and Hill and that makes her evil.

I was born Conservative and if these two were MY parents I would have denounced them at a very early age. That she continues to support them is disgraceful. Blood may be thicker than water but this is just wrong.
