Probably. I personally have no problem with the use of the terms 'mankind' or men to refer to a group. It should be noted, though that sometimes the bible is referring exclusively to men. As in "men, love your wives", for example and sometimes it is referring to all 'mankind' or all the people.
Most people can make the distinction based on the context. However, there are always exceptions. ;0)
