Okay, found it! Thanks. Now I need to find the phone company rant thread. :)

Did you get your FReepmail?
Any other regulars... FReepmail any of us to get the URL...
2JM... The pendings are being emailed to me to approve... Why did you give ME that power? hehehehe
To: Overtaxed; ecurbh; Penny1; HairOfTheDog; JenB
OT, it's an unlisted group...by invite only! I'm leaving the inviting to ecurbh, since he has the ping list.
Also, I made Penny, Jen, ecurbh, and HOTD moderators so they can help approve people. They can also invite and ban people. That makes 5 people to take care of the egroup business.
It took a long time for ecurbh to show up as "pending"...and I think he had to try again to finally get through. So if at first you don't succeed!

I am busy this morning so far... may not get the chapter post up for a couple hours. Especially because I still have to read it. hehehehe
To: JenB
That is hideous! egads.
To: HairOfTheDog
I'm in, but I should save the chatting for home. I'm not supposed to download executable files to the computer at work (need the Yahoo chat stuff.)
To: Overtaxed
That's a good plan... I know I probably can't chat when I'm over in the school computer labs. They don't want people downloading anything, even us lab assistants - guess we're supposed to be good examples.

Be sure and let everyone on your Green Dragon ping list know about the egroup.

Heeheehee....I'm not going in to work till later :) We have SNOW! So if anyone wants to chat, post here so that I'll know to meet you in the chatroom....I'll probably be home for at least a couple of hours...
To: Penny1
Sure, I can chat for a while! Meet you there!

Would any of you recommend the other books having to do with Middle-Earth? I mean like
The Silmarilion,
The Unfinished Tales, or any of the Christopher Tolkien stuff? Thanks in advance.

I think the Silmarillion would be highly recommended by everyone. It is a little dry... reads like a history text at times... but provides a lot of background that makes LoTR more interesting. I am about to try to read it again... I have used it previously just to look up things, as a reference... never read it all the way through.
Others like the Unfinished Tales... I haven't read them yet but plan to.
