I agree on all counts. I noticed the trigger was being pulled on numerous threads lately. They always caught my attention because of the subject matter or title. I find that there are many web sites like Rense or others to find this stuff and read it. They are of little use for debate since you either believe the stuff or you don't. Tempers get hot and the flames begin. Nothing is improved, and no knowledge is gained by that.
This site is advertised as a conservative political forum and not a rant site. Nor is it a place where anti establishment rhetoric should be spread.

Nor is it a place where anti establishment rhetoric should be spread.Uh, dude, I don't know where you are from, but where I am, the liberal elite is 'the establishment'.
Does that mean I can't spread anti-liberal rheotoric?

"...Nor is it a place where anti establishment
rhetoric should be spread."Does my esteemed colleague intend to promote
pro-establishment rhetoric? If that be the case,
allow me the courtesy of one minor difference with
the gentleman. The establishment can, I think we
can surely agree, take care of itself.
Could you give an example or two of anti-establishment
rhetoric which you think exceeded reasonable bounds.

To paraphrase John Chamberlain, may his soul rest in peace: There is no requirement to be for the establishment when the establishment is headed toward an abyss. When the choice is between freedom and the establishment, so far as I am concerned the establishment's gotta lose.

Indeed it is. But it makes you wonder why some posters come here, doesn't it? No flames. I think you know what I mean. Whenever I hear one of them trash conservatives, I am so tempted to ask them, "Since this is a conservative forum, what are you doing here since you are not a conservative?"
But I always digress.
