I grew up in North Jersey. Moved to Tacoma a few months ago. Photographed elk in the Hoh rain forest on the Olympic pennisula two days ago. I'm never going back (except to visit my kids!) Rain and all, I love it here!!!

Rain and all. My father, who was born on the Olympic Peninsula, used to say that you could always tell who wasn't local -- they were using their windshield wipers.
