Nothing of value is free. Even the breath of life is purchased at birth only through gasping effort and pain. . . . The best things in life are beyond money; their price is agony and sweat and devotion . . . and the price demanded for the most precious of all things in life is life itself -- ultimate cost for perfect value." Jean V. Debois Starship Troopers (Robert A Heinlein)

Thank you all so much!!! I posted this and left for Cub Scouts. Even though my two boys are now Boy Scouts, I have a hard time leaving the Pack. As Cubmaster, I feel obligated to find a replacement who will keep the Pack strong and active.

I left there to go to my older boys hockey game, and didn't get home till late. And today was "Mall Show Week" prep.

I cant' tell you how proud I am to be associated with this website and you patriots! I'll be bragging you all up at Scouts.

There was a quote I was looking for and I woder if anyone can help. It was by Lech Walesa, and went something like, ?I'd rather die on my feet a free man than to live as a slave on my knees.? I've always liked that one.

The quotes you've given me will be used in a game of "match the quote with the author". This should allow us to change the board around all week.

THANK YOU ALL!!
