No sister! Are you really looking? We found that the internet is a great way to find each other, although not the way you hear it done in the press. I read one day when my daughter was about 10-11 years old that parents should familiarize themselves with all aspects of the internet that could get kids in trouble. So I started exploring and just found a page where people had posted looking for a mate. I was laughing, noting how men were posting what kind of intimate activity they were ultimately looking for. Curious at what men in our area were looking for, I clicked on one page and read through the ridiculous items and then found my husband. I never, EVER, had any thought of actually replying to such a posting, but he sounded so NICE, and just what I was looking for. Nothing about intimate details, just a very nice man, the right age and religion who seemed to be looking for someone to enjoy and love. We started writing and got married a year later (to the day). He has some now-funny tales about his experiences. He is a very shy man who would have been unable to ask anyone for a date. But by the internet, I knew from the beginning that he was a lonely widower who wanted to get re-married. We clicked and now five years later, are very happy. It can work if you hang in there!
