[history]
First, he took on the city's pension boards. Now Mayor Martin O'Malley is taking on the golf board. O'Malley, showing disdain for what he called the board's "country club" mentality, angrily urged the Baltimore Municipal Golf Corp. yesterday to raise greens fees at the city's five public courses to provide more funding for programs for Baltimore's youth.

My son is a member of Baltimore's Junior Golf Program and I am a volunteer as well, and to even begin to insinuate that this organization does nothing for Baltimore's youth (note $400,000 extortion fee per year, 750 youths and growing) is ridiculous. $50.00 a round to find dead bodies(courses are a favorite dumping ground)? I think not. Marty! Marty! Pants on Fire!

I'll take the Balto County courses over the city any day. They are the same price, if not cheaper, and I think they are nicer and more challenging.

"angrily urged the Baltimore Municipal Golf Corp. yesterday to raise greens fees at the city's five public courses to provide more funding for programs for Baltimore's youth. "
Um. Why? Why is it the job of golf players to fund children's programs?
Why are dems so stupid?

Well, I definately agree with you Mr. Bird. For some reason I've always liked Longview (broke 100 for the first time there once upon a time.
